| Who
says Mass is boring?
Our Life Teen program is founded upon and is centered on Jesus
in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist. Mass is an exciting
celebration! It is where the God made man re-presents himself
to us on the cross dying for our sins and sealing His promise
of our Eternal Life of Happiness. It is about Resurrection! It’s
about Heaven touching earth! Now that’s something to celebrate!
Our Life Teen Liturgies take place every Sunday evening at 5pm
at St. Thomas More. The Liturgy is power-packed with awesome music
and homilies that speak youth in their language. You have got
to see this to believe it. |

Nights, Come Join the Fun! |

Following
Life Teen Mass, all teens are invited next door to our parish
hall for legal fun. Life Night is a wacked-out crazy night of
fun with a positive message. In today’s society it is hard
for teens to really have a good time without getting into some
kind of trouble. At Life Teen teenagers are getting an alternative
type of fun. A True fun! Life Night usually starts out with some
type of crazy activity; a hilarious video, a messy food game,
or a creative skit. Then, the teens will hear a short message
from one of the core team members or one of the youth ministers.
After the short talk, teens usually talk amongst themselves about
the topic and reflect on how it affects their own life. Life Night
closes with some prayer, usually some music, and an excellent
challenge. But wait, there’s more! Food! Not just any food,
good food, prepared by our amazing Parents 4 Life. Life Night
ends around 8pm. |

The Point –
This is high impact Catholicity! Every Monday night
from 7-8:30, join us in the loft for the 100% Catholic Theology
and Bible Study. Come with your Bibles and Catechisms in hand,
this is a night for the serious Catholic Teen, who wants to
learn the depths of Catholic Doctrine and Theology.
Breakout
– Praise and Worship at its best! Come join us on Thursday
nights from 7-8:30pm in the loft for some serious prayer.
This is not your mom’s prayer group.
Guys
and girls groups - Wednesdays, meet at 5:30 mass, then
go to assigned meeting places.
Friday
Life - Come
tailgate with the Life Teen youth group every friday before
(insert name of your high school) defeats (insert name of opposing
squadron). From 3:30-6:00 P.M. Pizza, cokes, and
fun provided! |

XLT:
aka Exalt |
| A
program unique to St. Thomas More Life Teen, XLT is a Catholic
outreach worship ministry. Targeted mainly at underprivelaged
parishes, XLT brings our high energy faith to those youth groups
who might not otherwise have that opportunity. XLT is a
great opportunity for these other youth, and it is also a chance
for our youth to live their faith and make an impact in the community.
XLT takes place every third thursday of the month, and everyone
caravans from the STM parking lot at around 6 P.M. to the destination
parish. |

Together, Stay Together: STM Retreats and Conferences |

| Taking teens away on retreat can change their lives: plain and
simple. St. Thomas More presents unique opportunities to
its Life Teen youth in the retreat setting. From Y.E.A.R. (Youth
Eucharistic Adoration Retreat) to the Life Teen Leadership at
Notre Dame to the River Retreat to the so-famous-they're-infamous
Steubenville Youth Conferences, STM youth experience the best.
It has long been out belief that true growth often comes
in new settings and always with a group of strong supportors,
and our philosophy when it comes to retreats is no different.
These retreats give teens the opportunity to experience
God's healing Love, His wisdom, His Word, and his Spirit in new
anc challenging ways. |
