The West Columbia project, led by St. Martha's, is the rebuilding of a large ranch style home that was gutted following Harvey. Work thus far has included hanging sheetrock, taping, floating, texturing and painting. Due to the size of the house, we are working in sections. Thus, some walls are now ready for paint and some are in various stages of sheetrock and texture. Whether or not you have experience in home improvements or repairs, St. Martha's team welcomes helping hands from all skill levels. The leaders on this project who have professional or mission work experience will happily and patiently train you. There is a task for everyone!
Work on the West Columbia project is generally on Thursdays from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm. Additional days are added if mission groups are coming in town and leaders are available to direct them.
