4. What is a martyr? How did St. Thomas More become one?

Activities:

1. Watch the 1966 Movie “A Man for All Seasons” about the life of St. Thomas More. Write a short paragraph about what you learned.
2. Draw three symbols that represent St. Thomas More’s life or draw a prayer card for him.
3. Write a prayer to St. Thomas More and pray it every day for at least a week.
4. St. Thomas More resisted pressure from his colleagues and did what he knew to be right for his faith. Describe how he did this and think of two other martyrs that similarly dedicated to their faith.
5. Make a timeline or short story book about St. Thomas More’s life and include pictures.
